February 27, 2020 Samuel Walter Lee, radio newscaster, entrepreneur, humanitarian, and father of five, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2020 in Inglewood, California, from respiratory complications. Sam is survived by his children Sandra, Nicole, Susan, and John, their mother Priscilla; two grandchildren Grant and Claire, sisters Gail and Crystal, and numerous cousins, relations, and dear friends. He is predeceased by his daughter Samantha in 1975. Sam was born on October 18, 1946 in Augusta, Georgia to John Walter Lee and Addie Aurelia Seales. He was raised in Detroit, Michigan, and attended Wayne State University. Sam was a radio newscaster and anchorman at stations in Texas, New Jersey, and New York.
